This is the new Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) Men's Hockey Club web site.  It is designed mainly for use by club members, but also provides information about the club.

NICS  plays its hockey in the picturesque grounds of the Stormont Estate in East Belfast.  Besides being the home to the local Government administration, the Northern Ireland Assembly, the grounds have hosted a number of events over recent years, including rock concerts, international cricket matches and cross-country running.

The club itself is affiliated to the Northern Ireland Civil Service Sports Association (NICSSA ) who maintain our playing facilities.  Anyone is welcome to join the club, whether public servant or not, and there is an associated Ladies Hockey Club , also based at Stormont.

 We currently field six senior teams, so there is room for everyone to find their own level, and enjoy the use of the Whistles Bar in the Maynard Sinclair Pavilion, which is our clubhouse.  Indeed, many of our members can be found there, enjoying some post-match socialising, late on a Saturday afternoon.

The Club also runs a Youth Section on Thurday evenings to help develop hockey skillsfor those not yet old enough to play Senior hockey.
